HI created Website Success Academy with a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves a professional website that works for their business, regardless of their technical expertise or budget.
As the founder of Pongos Interactive, I noticed something important while working with clients over the years. Many small business owners needed online solutions but weren’t ready for full-service “done for you” website development—either due to budget constraints, timeline, or simply because they wanted more hands-on involvement with their digital presence.
That’s why I launched Website Success Academy—to provide affordable DIY and done-with-you programs specifically designed for small business owners who want to create, maintain, and improve their websites without getting lost in technical jargon or completely feeling overwhelmed by the process.
From Primates to Pixels: My Professional Journey
I bring three decades of experience in website design, development, and technical training to Website Success Academy. But I wasn’t always a web developer! I earned a BS in Zoology in 1995 and planned to work with primates to learn how they communicate. However, that never happened, and instead, I found myself in an ever-evolving career in technology. I’ve worked as a database developer, technical writer, Flash developer, technical trainer, course creator, and web developer.
